PROJECT: THE GIDEWON FOUNDATION’S PARTY FOR A CAUSE BALL 

ASSIGNMENT: 

Handle all communications for the event, including event description and press materials for The Gidewon Foundation’s charity gala.  Also, handle red carpet management for talent and media.

APPROACH:

Utilize PR skills to communicate event to its target audience, and handle all aspects of media and talent relations, including pre and post event recaps.

THE OUTCOME

Over 500 special invited guests enjoyed an evening like no other filled with great music, live band, dancing, hor’dourves, an open bar, and the night’s popular Harlem Nights Casino Room.  Notable attendees including Atlanta political figures Mayor Kasim Reed and former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin; athletes Deon Grant, Charles Grant, Kandi Burruss of the Real Housewives of Atlanta; entertainment executives Chaka Zula, Bu Thiam, Devyne Stephens, Manny Halley; and music artists Verse Simmons, Rasheeda, and Diamond, generated local and national media awareness.  Over 25 media outlets were present on the red carpet.
