PROJECT: 
JERRY CLARK FOUNDATION’S ANNUAL WINTER BASEBALL CAMP

ASSIGNMENT: 

Handle media relations and assist with event execution for music-industry veteran and philanthropist, Jerry Clark’s annual winter baseball camp..

APPROACH:

Continuously leverage JCF Winter Baseball Camp’s attendance and awareness through local and national mediums by positioning it as a valuable philanthropic experience provided to Atlanta’s youth free of charge.  We also ensured a fun, and rewarding experience for the youth on-site. 

THE OUTCOME:  

JCF’s Winter Baseball Camp has increased in awareness, attendance, and anticipation yearly.  Each year, over 150 youth in the Atlanta metropolitan area has enjoyed a full day of pure baseball from professional players and instructors in Major League Baseball and other esteemed baseball professionals and instructors.

JCF Winter Baseball Camp has been featured on Atlanta’s top local radio stations’ V-103 and Streetz 94.5, Atlanta’s 11-Alive news, and various other local and national media outlets.  Special guests instructors have included; Marquis Grissom (MLB Veteran),  Tom “Flash” Gordon (MLB Veteran), Dee Gordon (Los Angeles Dodgers), Mike Cameron (Boston Red Sox), Cedric Hunter (San Diego Padres), Jacob Brumfield (MLB Veteran), Eddie Rush Jr. (Detroit Tigers), Daryl Boston (MLB Veteran), Chavez Clarke (Los Angeles Angels), Coach Derwin McNealy (Clark Atlanta University), Coach Robert Mitchell (Morehouse College), Atlanta Blue Jays, the Clark Atlanta University and Morehouse College baseball teams; and many more.
